'The Long Wait' - John Lewis Christmas Ad 2011
'The Long Wait' was the 2011 John Lewis Christmas advert which followed a little boy impatiently counting down the days to Christmas.
The Long Wait
In the advert the young boy impatiently counts down to Christmas Day. On Christmas Eve he rushes his dinner so that he can go to bed early ready for the next day. On Christmas morning he awakes, jumps out of bed and ignores his big pile of presents, instead running in to his parents bedroom to wake them to give them the gift he's been waiting to give them for so long.
Slow Moving Millie - 'Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want'
The advert features a cover of The Smiths song 'Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want' sung by Slow Moving Millie. Unlike the previous two years, the song didn't make it in to the charts.
