Chartwell House - Haunted History

Photo: Gaius Cornelius
Westerham, Kent
For over forty years Chartwell House was home to the former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and it is him who was the first to report a strange encounter in the country house near the town of Westerham.
Churchill said that he had been in his studio copying a portrait of his father when suddenly he became aware of an odd sensation, looking around he saw his father sitting in his red leather upright armchair.
