Following the success of the first series of the reality ghost hunting show, Rylan Clark-Neal is set to return to 5STAR with a new gang of celebs to investigate a selection of haunted locations in a new series called 'Celebrity Ghost Hunt: Haunted Holiday'.
In the previous series, which aired earlier this year, stars like TOWIE's James "Arg" Argent and 'Made In Chelsea's' Sam Thompson joined Rylan at six allegedly haunted locations, including London's Ragged School, Fort Horsted in Chatham and Hever Castle in Kent.
The line-up for the upcoming series includes 'Eastender's' star Joe Swash, dating expert Lady Nadia Essex and singer Simon Webbe of Blue fame. There's also a whole list of reality stars on the bill including Amber Davies ('Love Island'), Charlotte Dawson ('Ex On The Beach'), Sam Gowland ('Geordie Shore') and recent Celebrity Big Brother contestant, Roxanne Pallett.
As in the first series, the gangs of celebs will be joined by British ghost hunter, Ashley Buckenham and psychic Alex Gibbs. However this time around the team won't just be investigating paranormal hotspots in the UK, they'll also be checking out creepy sites of interest across Europe.
The locations the team of celebs will spend the night in include, Wicklow Gaol and Loftus Hall in Ireland, Chateau de Puymartin and Chateau de Fougeret in France, and Hotel Waldlust and Schloss Hohenstadtin Germany.
The second series will also see the return of TOWIE's Bobby Norris, who joined Rylan for a series one episode filmed at Kelvedon Hatch Nuclear Bunker. At one point during the episode, Bobby tried to contact the ghost of Margaret Thatcher, after spotting a mannequin of the former Prime Minister in the bunker's radio studio.
Bobby screamed, "oh my God it's Maggie! You know I was saying about Margaret Thatcher," before telling his fellow ghost hunters who he believed she actually was, "the Prime Minister, the old one. I mean she died. She was our Prime Minister, the first ever one."
French paranormal investigator, Sandy Lakdar, also make an appearance in the series. The Parisian truth seeker is now best known for her appearance in the ghost hunting show, 'Help! My House Is Haunted'.
The first series was commissioned after the success of a one-off 'Celebrity Ghost Hunt Live', which Rylan presented for 5STAR last year. The 90 minute show saw celebs Stephen Bear, Charlotte Crosby, Charlotte Dawson, Chris Hughes, and Ampika Pickston attempt to make contact with the spirits of Harwich Redoubt Fort in Essex.
The second series was confirmed on the show's official Twitter account. The tweet simply informed fans that the show was "coming soon" and teased followers by adding "Join @Rylan @psychic_alex and @Ashleybucks1 as they go on a spooktacular road trip investigating haunted locations across Europe. #CelebrityGhostHunt."
It was later confirmed that it would air over six nights from Sunday 9th September. Fans of the show are still hopeful that Celebrity Ghost Hunt Live might return of Halloween 2018.
