This page is more than one year old and was last updated in February 2024.
The wait is finally over. Following its Discovery+ debut earlier this year, the second series of 'Celebrity Help! My House Is Haunted' is set to find a new audience. The spine-tingling paranormal reality show is gearing up for its eagerly awaited television premiere on the Really channel from August 25.
After the overwhelming success of the first celebrity spin-off series, the 'Help! My House Is Haunted' team reassembles to provide relief to distressed celebrities haunted by inexplicable supernatural occurrences. The team comprises of seasoned ghost hunter and tech expert Barri Ghai, ordained exorcist and psychic medium Ian Lawman, and paranormal historian Jayne Harris.
Their aim is to uncover the truths hidden within six otherwise glamorous celebrity homes across the UK. To assist them on their mission, they're equipped with an array of ghost-hunting gadgets, from infrared camera systems to 3D mapping technology.
The homes spotlighted this season aren't solely defined by their opulence but also by their historical significance and the legacies of their past and present celebrity inhabitants. The episodes intertwine the house's unique history, the celebrity's experiences, and the expertise of the paranormal team, offering viewers a comprehensive immersion into the supernatural.
Among the stars searching for answers this season is reality TV sensation and singer, Jake Quickenden. Known for his notable stints on 'The X Factor' and 'Dancing on Ice', he grapples with eerie disturbances in his Essex home. His lifelong encounters with the spiritual realm leave him seeking clarity.
Louie Spence, the dancer and television star from 'Pineapple Dance Studios', invites the 'Help!' team into his 200-year-old Essex cottage. Hopes that the paranormal occurrences are the doings of his late mother's spirit clash with fears of a darker entity.
Iconic for his role as Steve in 'Coronation Street', Simon Gregson and his family are plagued by regular ghostly apparitions in their Manchester home. Eager to solve the mystery, they're anxious to determine if the spirit is a friendly visitor or a more menacing presence.
Residing in the historic 19th-century Goring Castle, and firmly on the Z-list, is the controversial Lady C. Haunting tales of female spirits unnerving her guests abound, and she's hoping the team will identify her spectral visitors.
'Geordie Shore' star Marnie Simpson feels besieged by spirits of a different kind, particularly after a controversial graveyard photoshoot. She's keen to free herself from the unsettling aura that has since cast a shadow over her life.
The team's supernatural journey concludes in the 17th-century Cotswold manor belonging to Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen. Previous inhabitants of the 'Changing Rooms' star's home recount a myriad eerie sightings and noises. Laurence is on a quest to uncover the manor's hidden dark past.
The paranormal exploits of Barri, Ian, and Jayne don't conclude with the Really channel's broadcast of series two. Discovery+ has announced that series three of 'Celebrity Help! My House Is Haunted' is on the horizon. The ghost-hunting trio recently teased fans with hints about the forthcoming season on social media. The celebrity line-up for this new series remains shrouded in mystery, as does its premiere date.
So, pencil in August 25, as the Really channel promises an enthralling journey into the paranormal with 'Celebrity Help! My House Is Haunted' series two. For those eager for the third series on Discovery+, stay tuned. Both the celebrity special and the fifth non-celeb series are "coming soon".
