Thinking about next Halloween already? On Halloween Eve 2025, Danny Robins, known for his hit paranormal podcast series 'Uncanny', will present a unique event at the iconic Royal Albert Hall. Fright Night marks a departure from his familiar cold-case storytelling format, instead diving into a real-time ghost hunt that explores the hall's haunted history and infamous ghost stories.
Known as "the UK's go-to ghost guy," Danny has become a leading figure in paranormal media with acclaimed projects like 'The Battersea Poltergeist' and 'The Witch Farm' podcast, his West End hit '2:22 A Ghost Story,' and the BBC series 'Uncanny.' With 'Uncanny' now spanning a TV series, book, and popular live tour, this Halloween eve event at the Royal Albert Hall will offer fans something different: the chance to experience a ghost hunt with Danny in one of London's most historic and allegedly haunted venues.
The Royal Albert Hall has more than its fair share of spectral sightings and paranormal tales that span its 153-year history. For years, there have been reports of ghostly figures and mysterious events within the hall, including the ghost of a Victorian couple seen in a theatre box and the eerie presence of "the girls," who are said to appear each year on November 2 in the basement area, dressed in old-fashioned attire. Over the years, staff have reported laughter, footsteps, and glimpses of these figures in the kitchen area, with sightings often ending in the figures' sudden disappearance.
One of the hall's most famous spectres is "Father Willis," the original builder of its magnificent organ. It's said that whenever restoration work is undertaken, the ghost of Henry Willis, fondly known as "Father Willis," makes an appearance. Workers have described a chilling coldness near the organ, and one organ builder even reported seeing Willis himself.
Other tales include the 'Man in White,' reportedly seen on stage during a Jasper Carrott comedy event in 1990, even though no one else was meant to be there. And as recently as 2014, an audience member reported seeing a ghostly apparition during a Gary Barlow concert.
Fright Night will see Danny live on stage, exploring these tales and more while paying homage to a historic séance held at the hall in 1930 in memory of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the famed author and paranormal enthusiast. There will also be a live ghost hunt around, replayed to the audience via HD screens.
The atmosphere will be enhanced by a haunting soundtrack performed by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. The music will include iconic pieces like Camille Saint-Saëns's 'Danse Macabre' and iconic film score themes.
Danny Robins' Halloween event promises to capture the excitement of paranormal investigation at one of Britain's most atmospheric locations. This event takes 'Uncanny' from a ghost story podcast to an immersive experience, letting fans witness a ghost hunt unfold.
Fright Night takes place on October 30, and tickets are on sale now via the Royal Albert Hall's website.
