Who you gonna call? Well, in the case of Kingston Cemetery which was haunted by a ghost, it wasn't the ghostbusters who answered the call but Hampshire police and they proved they weren't afraid of no ghost after the spook ended up with a fine.
Locals said the spotted the ghost "throwing its arms in the air and saying 'woooooo'." However, the spectre in question was far from beyond the grave, he was a in fact a local 24-year-old man, Anthony Stallard. One local reported the paranormal activity to the police.
The "haunting" started after going out drinking with friends, they then went to the cemetery in Portsmouth where they were accused of anti-social behaviour, including pretending to be a ghost.
At Portsmouth magistrates court the fake ghost pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause distress.
So, what is the fine for impersonating a ghost? It turns out it's £35, plus he was ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £20 in costs.
