Jeremy Corbell On The Chris Cuomo Project
Investigative filmmaker and journalist Jeremy Corbell, best known for his work exposing government secrecy around Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs) and his collaboration with veteran reporter George Knapp, is a well known advocate in the push for disclosure.

During a recent appearance on 'The Chris Cuomo Project', Jeremy criticised President Donald Trump for failing to follow through on his promises of transparency regarding UAPs, drones, and other government secrets.

Trump often positions himself as a disruptor, frequently criticising the so-called "deep state" and vowing to reveal long-hidden truths about classified topics, including the Kennedy assassination and military drone activity. Yet, as Jeremy pointed out, once back in power, his administration took the same stance as previous presidents.

"We all have high hopes whenever there's a change of the guard," Jeremy said, reflecting on the optimism surrounding Trump's re-election. "But we're in a situation where it's possible the institutionalised secrecy on this issue and others is so powerful that people just fall in line."

Jeremy told the podcast host how he believes Trump initially appeared frustrated with the lack of answers surrounding UAPs. "Trump said, 'This doesn't make sense, I don't know why they can't tell you more,'" Jeremy recounted. However, his tone changed once in office, with his administration's press secretary eventually offering the same vague explanations as the Biden administration.

Jeremy argued that secrecy surrounding UAPs isn't just a political issue - it's an entrenched system designed to keep these topics from the public. "Maybe this UFO secret is so big that it is worth protecting to people in power," he suggested, adding, "It's very sad if that's the route we're going down." He described what he calls a "legacy architecture" of secrecy, which he believes remains intact no matter who sits in the Oval Office.

One of Jeremy's biggest frustrations is the dismissive nature of official explanations regarding UAP incursions. "The FAA did not authorise the 17 nights in a row where UFOs were buzzing Langley," he said, pushing back against claims that these sightings were merely hobbyist drones. He added that at least three US air bases located in the UK had been infiltrated by untrackable drones for weeks, an event that was never properly addressed by officials.

"The fact they come out and even say that - they know we're not dumb. They just think if they say it enough, we're going to buy into it," Jeremy said, suggesting a deliberate effort to downplay the seriousness of these incidents.

Beyond simple surveillance, Jeremy believes these UAPs are actively interfering with military operations. He recalled how, in 2019, UAPs were reported performing high-speed, erratic manoeuvres over naval workups, leading to a potential delay in deployment.

"So many of these unidentifieds were doing incredible manoeuvres and were deemed dangerous... in a 100-mile radius, they actually stalled the deployment," Jeremy explained. "This is a national security issue, absolutely. These unidentifieds outpace, outmanoeuvre, and outperform what we have."

According to Jeremy, intelligence agencies have a much clearer picture of the UAP situation than they admit. "There is footage of absolutely non-aerodynamic craft coming up out of the water and hovering and loitering over critical infrastructure sites," he stated, adding that he has personally spoken with military personnel who have witnessed such incidents firsthand.

"The people in power have to know that," Jeremy continued. "I have actually tried to facilitate for them to go get that footage that I know exists." Despite these efforts, that footage remains classified.

Jeremy also highlighted the disturbing reality that he believes intelligence agencies are actively controlling how the UAP narrative is presented to the public. He pointed to a CIA document that he had seen, which he says details efforts to frame the conversation around UAPs in a way that benefits those in power.

"I was exposed to a CIA document that made it clear there is an attempt to shape the narrative for personal benefit - maybe even for financial benefit," he revealed.

Talking Trump's failure to release UAP information, Jeremy speculates that once leaders understand the implications of disclosure, they choose to keep secrets rather than risk destabilising their power structures. Even when presidents express initial interest in transparency, Jeremy believes they are quickly advised against it by intelligence officials, who warn of the potential damage such revelations could cause.

Given the levels of government secrecy, Jeremy does not believe Trump - or any other president - will be the one to finally disclose the truth about UAPs. Instead, he thinks that whistleblowers must take the risk of coming forward - something we have seen with the likes of Luis Elizondo, Jake Barber, and David Grusch in recent years.

"It's going to come from us. It's going to come from whistleblowers breaking from the fold, taking the risk, ruining their careers, and telling you how it is," he said. "People are going to leak videos, people are going to leak memos, people are going to come forward by face and tell you what they were involved in."

Jeremy and journalist George Knapp, a veteran investigative reporter known for his long-standing work on UFO disclosures, are actively working to bring these whistleblowers forward, despite government efforts to suppress them.

While Jeremy remains frustrated by the government's secrecy, he remains optimistic that pressure from the public and leaks will eventually force disclosure.

"Lies die on the vine. Ultimately, the facts are the facts," he said. "If we can crack the code on the UAP thing - just get ground truth - it's going to open up a flow of information in other areas."
