Ghost Ship On The River Thames

May 25, 2015

The river Thames, just East of Westminster Bridge and Big Ben.

On this stretch of the river, many have reported seeing a ghost ship, crewed by three men.

The boat is most commonly seen on misty days making it hard to make out features on the ghostly crew's faces.

The boat is seen sailing through the mist towards Westminster Bridge but never appears on the other side.

The phantom ship has been seen as recently as 2014 when a lifeboat crew was called out one foggy Tuesday after receiving reports of a ghost ship drifting along the river.

Westminster bridge is also the site another haunting. On New Year's Eve party-goers have reported seeing a shady figure jump from the bridge into the waters below.

Many belief him to be the ghost of Jack the Ripper. Locals says the infamous London serial killer, who was never caught, jumped from the bridge and took his life in 1888.
