Hosts Scouse At Ancient Ram Inn
Adam and Chris from Haunted Scouse have announced details of their Halloween special and confirmed they'll be giving followers the chance to see what happened when they investigated one of the country's best known haunted locations, Ancient Ram Inn.

The special will premiere on the duo's YouTube channel at 8pm on Halloween night and will reveal what happened when they spent the whole night investigating the notorious building in Gloucestershire. They captured some amazing activity that they can't wait for fans to see on Monday, October 31.

The inn has a grim history, it started life under the ownership of the local parish and was used to house slaves working on the construction of St. Mary's Church. Since then the ownership of the inn has changed hands many times and guests have claimed on many occasions to have seen previous owners sat among the patrons.

The Ram in the small market town of Wotton-Under-Edge has a huge list of reported paranormal activity to its name. Some of the most commonly reported activity includes highly localised cold spots, temperature drops and unexplained icy blasts of air. Some of the other activity reported in the former inn includes light anomalies seen with the naked eye and caught on camera, doors slamming on their own, and the sound of unexplained footsteps. The sound of furniture sliding around and mysterious knocking is also frequently heard.

But their trip to the Ancient Ram isn't the only treat you can expect from Haunted Scouse this Halloween. For the first time every they'll be releasing an an episode every week in October for the first time on their channel.

The investigators announced, "this October, we wanted to deliver more than ever before. That meant aiming for one episode a week rather than our usual once every 3 weeks schedule. After all, October is the biggest month of the year for the paranormal and we wanted to ensure we packed the channel with episodes for everyone to enjoy leading up to the big night itself."

Haunted Scouse's October of ghost hunting comes after a huge year for Adam and Chris. Since they delivered their Woolton Hall Halloween special in 2021, their channel has grown and the locations just get better and better. 2022 has seen them visit some of the UK's most famous paranormal locations, including Antwerp Mansion and the iconic Newsham Park Asylum.

2022 started with an invite to be filmed for 'Unexplained: Caught On Camera' season three, which is currently showing on Discovery+. Haunted Scouse's contribution included footage from Peter Kavanagh's in Liverpool and nearby Woolton Hall, it has allowed their multi-camera style to reach far and wide. The show's experts, including Jayne Harris and Ciarán O'Keeffe, were very impressed with both the evidence and the style Adam and Chris bring into their investigations.

Despite having full time jobs, wives and kids, Adam and Chris have managed to find the time to travel further afield in search of the paranormal in the last twelve months than they have before. The guys were invited to Cheshire to investigate a house reputed to be the most haunted in Northwich. While in two they also returned to investigate Northwich Plaza Theatre.

They also filmed an investigation at Penrhyn Old Hall in North Wales, which will appear in an upcoming episode scheduled to drop in November. The Old Hall was also a venue for one of their fan events, several of which have already taken place in 2022 with two more sold-out events before the year ends.

The duo said, "we promised our fanbase that we would go further and bigger this year as a reward for their loyalty and support. We are confident we have delivered on that."

The events give the guys the chance to meet some of their loyal viewers and allows guests to take part in an investigation themselves.

They said, "we started the events as we had requests to join us on filming nights. We figured it was easier to hire somewhere and invite more people and then we could allow them to join us for an investigation of somewhere they had seen on an episode. The opportunity to experience it for themselves has proven very popular and we now have five or six nights a year where we gather the 'Haunted Scouse Family' as they call themselves."

Haunted Scouse Halloween Special – The Ancient Ram Inn will air on Monday, October 31 at 8pm.
