Haunted Underground Station, Covent Garden, London

May 31, 2015

Covent Garden Underground Station is one of the busiest stations with tourists visiting London but the station is said to be haunted. One Christmas Eve a ticket inspector was tormented by a knocking on his office door late one night.

When the inspector opened the door he found himself face-to-face with a tall man wearing a grey suit and a homburg hat. The man said nothing and then disappeared in to thin air as he walked away.

The ticket inspector claims to have encountered the apparition several more times over the next few years, he’s also since been spotted by many other staff at the station.
