Hellier Season 2

Last year Planet Weird's documentary series 'Hellier' caused a stir when it introduced viewers to the possible existence of strange unidentified goblin-like creatures in Kentucky.

This November 'Hellier' returns for a second season picking up 14 months after the first season's cliffhanger.

Season two will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime from November 29th, and will be available to watch for free from December 13th on YouTube, Vimeo and hellier.tv.

In the documentary's last five-part season, we met husband and wife paranormal investigators Greg and Dana Newkirk as they teamed up with filmmaker Karl Pfeiffer and try to get to the bottom of the Hellier case. This time around they say that Hellier was just a symptom, which means we're about to learn of the cause.

In the teaser trailer for the new season, Dana says, "this is 100% the most intense and largest mystery that I have ever investigated."

The new season follows a frightening new lead into the mysterious paranormal activity hiding in the shadows of the Appalachian Mountains, the researchers, along with Connor Randall and Tyler Strand, find themselves further down the rabbit hole of high strangeness than ever before.

Of course, it all started in the small Kentucky mining town and Greg says, "the minute that we stepped foot in Hellier, something changed and it feels like everything after that has been a response."

From chasing modern-day sightings of supernatural entities like Indrid Cold and the Mothman to venturing directly into the underground mazes of the Mammoth Cave System and attempting dangerous parapsychological experiments with disturbing results, season two of Hellier follows every thread to get to the heart of the Phenomena behind the elusive David Christie and the cryptic Terry Wriste.

The first season was well received, due to its engaging plot, and high production standards. The episodes were filmed in a beautiful cinematic style with perfect audio and a great original score, very impressive for an independently-funded documentary series.
