Barri Ghai, Chris Fleming and Sandy Lakdar return for the sixth episode of REALLY's newest ghost hunting show and this week the team of paranormal investigators look into claims of demonic entities in a village pub in Hampshire.
The team are travelling the length and breadth of the UK and using the latest ghost hunting gadgets to try to capture evidence of hauntings. This week's location is Fleur De Lys pub in Pilley.
The paranormal activity in the pub, which is the oldest in the New Forest, includes dark shadows moving through the bar, sudden and extreme drops in temperature, seats mysteriously shaking and unexplained noises. The pub is said to be haunted by the spirit of a female, given the nickname the Grey Lady. Despite the pub's poltergeist activity, the Grey Lady is said to be a friendly and benevolent spirit.

The show's psychic, Chris, knows nothing about the pub or its haunted history. In fact, hailing from Chicago, Illinois, he's never even seen a building with a thatched roof before. He couldn't believe it and thought it was a fire hazard. The episode starts by teasing a moment later in the investigation where they could smell something burning upstairs. Could Chris' intuition be a clue of what's to come?
Entering the pub alone, Chris firstly picked up on the female spirit, presumably that of the Grey Lady, but upstairs he picks up on a much darker spirit. Sat in the bar, Chris ponders aloud, "I wonder if anyone has ever died in here," and seconds later an unidentified dragging sound is heard. This coincided with a strange shape becoming visible on a crew member's back as the camera panned around the room.
Outside, Chris thought he saw something run across the pub garden, which he couldn't explain. Moments later he was drawn toward an old well, he said "spirits will tend to go down near water, down wells, down caves." He tried to use his audio recorder to capture some spirit voices, but just got a garbled noise. He said, "I can't make anything out, too contaminated," but unperturbed, he added "I'm beginning to think that the malevolent activity surrounding the Fleur De Lys pub could also stem from the bottom of this well" and the garbled audio leads Chris to believe that the pub has a demonic infestation.

Lockdown
After dark, the team locked down the building in order to conduct an investigation of the pub throughout the night. Barri comes to the investigation with one last piece of information. He said that around dinner time this evening, several people smelt and intense and unexplained smell of burning in the bar. He also said that the owners told him that the fire alarm went off four times during the previous night for no reason.
Chris thinks all these clues pointing to fire could be a sign that a fire will break out in the building at some point and he thinks the team can prevent it.
The investigation started with Barri walking around the pub with his SLS camera, a device that maps anomalies invisible to the human eye by measuring changes in the thermal temperature and light frequency. While in a store room an object is seemingly thrown over his shoulder by an unseen force. A door then starts to close on its own and seconds later and the camera man ran away.
While moving the camera around the room, the software picked up what could be a human figure in the darkness. Barri said that the figure could be the poltergeist that moved the door. He even said it shape-shifted and took on an animal-like form. Later Barri took his camera out to the grounds near the well and his camera picked up what he described as an identical figure.
The team then gathered around a table to conduct a séance, they called out to the spirit of the Grey Lady, asking her to communicate in whatever way she can. Chris said, "I know you're listening to us, do you have an important message?" Moments later they heard an unexplained noise coming from somewhere in the room. It wasn't picked up by the camera's microphones but the team thought it sounded like a female voice.
Chris then directly asked, "is there a danger of there being a fire to this pub? Knock once for 'yes', two for 'no'." Sandy said she felt the table click after this, so Chris asked for a bigger sign and asked the question again, eventually they heard one knock and took this to mean that the Grey Lady was warning them about an impending fire.
A few minutes later they heard a sound coming from upstairs and went to investigate. As soon as they got upstairs, Barri excitedly shouted, "woah! Can you smell that? It's burning! Something's burning up here." They had a look around but couldn't find the source of the smell and moments later they reported it had gone. Chris then said he saw something shoot across the wall. Chris recognised the shadow, it was the exact same shadow he'd seen earlier in the day.
Chris played back audio from his digital recorder, he said the recording "clearly warns him off," it sounds a bit like it said the word "retreat". They're then bothered by a foul stench, which seems to be driving them away.
Towards the end of the episode the team lower an infrared camera into the well, where they say they experienced something pulling on it and shaking it. Chris says, "with the sun rising over the Fleur De Lys, I'm still sensing demons hiding in or around the well."
Chris then has a huge scare when Sandy points out a "huge spider" crawling on his chest. Chris thinks this could be proof of demonic activity. He said, "I'm convinced the demons are messing with me."
As with the previous five episodes the team attempt to resolve the paranormal issues by walking around the pub while praying for the spirits and encouraging them to leave as part of a cleansing ritual, which involves a Tibetan singing bowl and incense.
