Most Haunted At Guy's Cliffe House, Part Two - Series 24, Episode 10 Review
This article is more than five years old and was last updated in September 2019.
Yvette Fielding and her team continue their investigation of Guy's Cliffe House in Warwick. The house itself is now in ruins, but a chapel was built behind the house. The chapel passed in to private hands in 1947 and since 1955 has been home to the Fraternal Brotherhood of Freemasons.
The property is said to be haunted by dark shadows, whining voices and the ghost of a white female apparition, who is often seen walking the grounds in a state of distress. It's believed she is the ghost of Lady Felice, Guy of Warwick's wife, from whom the house takes its name. It said that Lady Felice jumped from the top of the building and died on the ground in front of the cave underneath the house where Guy lived out the last few years of his life as a hermit.

The Story So Far
In the first half of the investigation Karl Beattie was spooked by a banging door and odds sounds coming from all around him in the stables. Large bricks and stones were thrown at demonologist Fred Batt and his team who were holding a vigil in the wine cellar. And, Yvette investigated strange knocking sounds in the Masonic temple with the show's resident skeptic, Glen Hunt.

The Drama Continues...
The episode continued where the previous had left off with Karl and Stuart Torevell holding vigil in the small cellar beneath the chapel, known as the Ice House. They had already heard knocks and bangs and a whistle which seemed to be copying Karl. Karl called out to the spirits, "if you're here, do something" and there was a crash. Stuart spun around with the camera revealing that a scaffolding bar that had been leaning against the wall had fallen over on to the hard stone floor.
A few minutes later the gate at the top of the ladder, that the duo had descended into the cellar, slammed closed. As Stuart went to investigate, another metal pole was thrown in the small stone chamber. Both of the objects that had either fallen or been thrown were heavy pieces of metal, Stuart said "they'll kill someone. We could be dead now, we're lucky to be alive, we really are."
This was enough for Karl and Stuart and the pair left the Ice House, but even when they were safe at the top of the ladder, they could still hear the faint sound of activity from the cellar below.
The Wine Cellar
Yvette was still with Fred, Darren Hutchinson and Gregg Smith in the wine cellar. They'd already experienced strange sounds and Gregg had reported feeling something touching his head. We re-join them as Fred starts calling out to the spirits, asking for them to show a sign they are present.
They were hearing an odd vibration, which was like a distant drum. They then started hearing strange sounds like a hiss and an odd noise like a laugh. The sounds, which were clearly picked up on camera, were hard to identify.
Re-Group
The team the re-grouped and moved on to new locations to continue their investigation. Glen and Gregg were in the Ice House, which proved to be much quieter than it was during the previous team's vigil there.
Fred was alone in the cave underneath the house, where he was putting his demonology skills to use. He called out, "this place that used to be a chapel, come forward and greet me Satan, open the gates and come forward. I'm waiting here for you. Come and show yourself."
Stuart was also on a lone vigil. He was wandering around the ruins of the old house, he too had a quiet time, although he did find his surroundings very creepy and eerie.
The Middle Chamber
Yvette was with Karl and Darren in the middle chamber, a small wood panelled room. The three of them sat around a table to conduct a séance, and pretty soon heard talking coming from above them, despite the fact there's nothing above them other than empty attic space.
They then started to feel the table shaking and vibrating underneath their fingers and very soon the table started lifting up, seemingly levitating under its own power. Yvette said, "my god, it's actually floating." The long rectangular table began to twist and turn, when the team attempted to turn it back, they were surprised by how heavy it was.
After a while Darren placed the camera under the table so we could see the team's feet, although not clearly because of the small room and tightness of the shot. The table continued to move and then, once the camera was placed on top of the table again, it started to vibrate and rock violently.
The movement became so violent that at one point the camera almost fell off of the table. Karl eventually stood up with the camera to get the whole table in shot. The table continued to shake and vibrate and then once again began to float from one end.
They then all stood up around the table in order to eliminate the possibility that one of the team were lifting the table with their legs from underneath. They again lightly placed their fingers on the table and again it started to lift, although not as dramatically as it had done before.
And with that, the investigation and the current series of Most Haunted came to an end. With a bike being dragged at Eden Camp, through to the table lifting at Guy's Cliffe House, the series has proved to be one of the most active yet.
