Most Haunted Episodes Filmed In The North East Of England

Since Yvette Fielding and her team of ghost hunters first appeared on our televisions in 2002, they've visited hundreds of haunted locations around the country, including a total of nine episodes filmed in the North East of England.

The North East is home to the Schooner, which is said to be the most haunted hotel in the UK, and Chillingham, which is said to be the most haunted castle in the country.

Series 7, Episode 2: Castle Keep, Newcastle

Yvette Fielding and Gordon Smith travel to Newcastle to visit Castle Keep, a medieval building claimed to be a hotbed for poltergeists, spirits and ethereal voices.

Series 8, Episode 9: The North East Aircraft Museum, Sunderland

August 22, 2006

Yvette Fielding and a team of experts visit an aircraft base in Sunderland to investigate the spirits of two military figures with different reputations.

Yvette Fielding and a team of investigators visit Bamburgh Castle, Northumberland, where the ghost of an old lady dressed in a green cloak has been spotted falling from the top of the castle with something in her hands, as well as a medieval knight said to wander around the keep.

Yvette Fielding and a team of investigators search for paranormal activity at Brinkburn Priory in Northumberland, apparently host to the spirits of the monks who died there.

Series 15, Episode 10: Belsay Hall, Morpeth

July 21, 2010

Yvette Fielding and a team of investigators visit 19th-century decaying mansion Belsay Hall, in Northumberland, where the voices of long-dead children are said to ring in the air.
