Most Haunted Episodes Filmed In The West Midlands

Since Yvette Fielding and her team of ghost hunters first appeared on our televisions in 2002, they've visited hundreds of haunted locations around the country, including a total of 31 episodes filmed in the area.

The West Midlands has its fair share of haunted locations including several haunted castle, that the team have investigated over the years, including Tutbury Castle, Tamworth Castle, Warwick Castle, and Whittington Castle.

The team first visited the West Midlands in series two, when they investigated the first of these ancient forts, Tutbury Castle. The team have also headed to the West Midlands from two 'Most Haunted Live!' shows at Dudley Castle and Stratford-Upon-Avon. In 2016 the team took part in an "as live" Halloween special at HMP Shrewsbury.

Series 2, Episode 2: Tutbury Castle, Staffordshire

Most Haunted visits Staffordshire to investigate the ruins of historic Tutbury Castle - in which Mary, Queen of Scots was held. The team hope to encounter a ghostly lady and meet historian Lesley Smith for the first time.

Series 2, Episode 3: The Station Hotel, Dudley

April 22, 2003 • Review

Most Haunted returns to Dudley, this time to investigate The Station Hotel. Since its opening in 1910 the hotel has welcomed many famous guests such as Laurel and Hardy but is said to be haunted by the ghost of a murdered maid.

Series 9, Episode 5: Alton Towers, Staffordshire

Yvette Fielding and the team investigate ghostly phenomena at Alton Towers in Staffordshire. An oak tree remains chained up due to a centuries-old curse, a spectral lady in black has been spotted by Towers staff and there are reports of poltergeist activity on the Hex ride.
