Danny Moss, Harry Achilleos, and Brett Jones, the team behind 'My Haunted Project', have announced their latest and most ambitious venture to date: 'My Haunted Pendle Hill'.
Pendle Hill in the heart of Lancashire has long been regarded as one of the most haunted areas in the UK, and now the 'My Haunted Project' will give members of the public the chance to explore this fearsome reputation and the hill's eerie history for themselves.
The events will take place in a historic farmhouse, located near the Black Moss Reservoir at the foot of the hill. The building dates back to the early 17th century and is situated at the epicentre of the infamous Pendle witch story. This marks the latest location in the ever-expanding 'My Haunted Project' portfolio, joining the successful 'My Haunted Hotel' in Chester and 'My Haunted Manor USA' in Pennsylvania.
Danny Moss explained, "The farmhouse dates back to pre-1612, and we have been working with historians who have confirmed farming activity on this site around the exact time of the Pendle witch trial, however, there are no direct links to any of the names involved as of yet," but further research is ongoing, with plans to delve into historical archives for more information.
The farmhouse itself has a history of extensive paranormal activity, much of which was reported by the family who previously lived there. Danny added, "The activity was especially significant for the younger son in the family, with multiple witnesses corroborating the experiences."
As with the other 'My Haunted Project' locations, the Pendle Hill site will follow the same format of 24/7 surveillance, long-term investigations, and public access. Guests will have the chance to stay overnight and investigate the location for themselves. The remote nature of the farmhouse adds to the immersive experience, with guests being transported to and from the site by the team's 4x4 vehicles. Once on-site, visitors will be effectively "locked down" until morning, offering a truly unique and intense ghost-hunting adventure.
Talking about the significance of Pendle Hill, Danny said, "Pendle Hill attracts worldwide interest and is a huge addition to the 'My Haunted Project' that will allow people to conduct paranormal research and investigation inside a key location - something that has never been done before." Danny added, "This has been on our list for a very long time, and to now make this a reality is a huge moment for the team and me."
The property is currently being fitted with extensive surveillance equipment, covering every angle of the farmhouse, and is expected to open to the public in January. As with other 'My Haunted Project' sites, highlights from investigations will be available for free on YouTube.
In addition, this location will feature prominently in the team's Amazon Prime show, which begins in spring 2025, offering guests the chance to appear in episodes documenting their experiences. Danny said, "We are all about documenting real people's paranormal experiences in our locations whilst providing a healthy and educational sceptical approach to all of our investigations."
Danny is no stranger to the paranormal activity associated with Pendle Hill. "I have captured firsthand, real paranormal activity during my investigations of Pendle Hill, including a full-bodied apparition at Lower Well Head Farm in 2020."
'My Haunted Pendle Hill' is set to bring guests closer to one of Britain's most compelling and chilling tales, offering a blend of historical intrigue and paranormal investigation. It promises to be a milestone addition to the growing 'My Haunted Project' and an unmissable destination for ghost hunters and history enthusiasts alike.
