'Help! My House Is Haunted' & 'Ghost Adventures' Head Up The Really Channel's Halloween Schedule

It wouldn't be Halloween without some creepy shows to watch on the telly and over the last few years Really has become the go-to channel for paranormal programming in the UK.

The Discovery-owned channel, which is currently home of the #Freakend, have announced their Halloween slate of supernatural shows for 2021, a week-long programming event that they're calling Ghostober.

The seven-night spooktacular is headed up with the television premiere of the new series of the British show, 'Help! My House Is Haunted'. Episodes from the show's third series will air every night at 10pm from Monday, October 25 up until the night before Halloween.

On the night of Halloween itself, which this year falls on a Sunday, the channel will bring viewers a brand new two-hour-long 'Ghost Adventures' Halloween special. 'Ghost Adventures: The Goldfield Hotel' will see Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, Billy Tolley and Jay Wasley return to the place where their journey began to settle once and for all a mysterious, evil feud that’s been cast over this haunted Nevada town.

Unlike in previous years, fans of the GAC in the UK won't have to wait to see this year's Halloween special, as the new episode will air in the UK and in America in October. This isn't the only change to Really's Halloween line-up, this year for the first time they're dropping the familiar '13 Nights Of Frights' name in favour of Ghostober, which has been used by Really's transatlantic sister station, the Travel Channel, for the last few years.

British fans of the paranormal will also get to see 'Paranormal Lockdown' star, Nick Groff's new paranormal series, 'Deathwalker', which will air each night leading up to Halloween at 11pm. The schedule also includes new episodes of 'Paranormal 911' and some classic 'Ghost Adventures' episodes dating back to 2012 and 2013.

And if you want more Zak Bagans this Halloween, there's another chance to see his 2018 film, 'Demon House', which follows him on an investigation of a reputedly haunted home in Gary, Indiana. Then on October 31, look out for the television debut of 'Demon House: The Lost Footage'. A new two-hour special made up of never-before-seen footage from the infamous house.

Really begins their Halloween programming on Monday October 25, 2021. It will then run for seven consecutive nights up to and including the night of Halloween 2021. You can watch on Sky 142, Virgin 128, BT 17, Freeview 17, Freesat 160. All shows will be available to stream live or catch up on demand on Discovery+.

In a new two-hour Halloween special, the 'Ghost Adventures' crew head back to Goldfield, Nevada, to settle – once and for all – a mysterious evil feud that's been cast over the town. In a highly personal and emotionally charged investigation, Zak, Aaron, Billy and Jay revisit the haunted town where their journey began... and head back inside the infamous Goldfield Hotel, a landmark with a bloodied past. New frightening paranormal incidents call the GAC back in their final attempt to unmask a vengeful presence that only grows stronger – and more menacing – by the day.

Barri Ghai, Jayne Harris and the newest team member, Ian Lawman, tackle 12 new haunted locations in the third series of 'Help! My House Is Haunted'. The show sees the investigators experience everything from a house haunted by as many as 50 spirits, to a hotel where the ghost of a little girl name Gertie roams, plus plenty of phantom monks in between.

Zak Bagans investigates a home he purchased, sight unseen, after learning of its demonic history. This house became known as the demon house. The project was his longest and most challenging investigation ever, which also left him permanently scarred. Now Zak presents a collection lost footage that wasn't included in the original 2018 documentary, these unseen terrifying events include additional night vision investigations of the house.

Nick Groff is best-known as an original member of of 'Ghost Adventures' team and his more recent series alongside Katrina Weidman, 'Paranormal Lockdown'. In his new original Discovery+ series he investigates the origin of some of the most notorious hauntings in America, redefining our understanding of the paranormal.

In 1977, 'The Amityville Horror' book was published and caused a sensation. The subsequent 1979 film adaptation was a surprise box office hit. It was a film that changed everything. It terrified audiences and became a film and story that people continue to return to. Today, it is the quintessential American horror story based on TRUE events. It was a situation so dire, even the church couldn't help them. Through archival footage and re-creations, the special, produced by 1895 Films, presents the harrowing true story of Robert Defeo, who murdered his entire family in the Amityville house, and the 28 terror-filled days the Lutz family lived in the house.

Most of us are familiar with the film The Exorcist based on a book by the same name, but did you know the spine-chilling story is true? The Exorcism of Roland Doe uncovers a secret diary revealing shocking new details of the real exorcism case that inspired the iconic horror film. The victim of the real demonic possession was 13-year-old Roland Doe. More than 70 years ago, Doe became the unwilling participant in the most famous story of the devil inhabiting a person's soul.

Season two of the first-person, docu-drama, 'Paranormal 911' air over Ghostober. The show revolves around true tales of US police officers, firefighters and paramedics who've experienced paranormal occurrences whilst on duty. Each year an alarming number of 911 responders are forced to face their fears as they put themselves in danger to help the living.

To get you in the mood for this year's 'Ghost Adventures' Halloween special, there's a selection of classic episodes of the show airing from Monday, October until Friday, October 29.

In a special two-hour event, Ghost Adventures travel across Ireland's countryside, uncovering the origins of Halloween, abound with ancient Celtic legends and haunted locales infested by ghosts, banshees and satanic entities.

In this 2013 episode, the team remember all their international lockdowns at some of the world's most sinister places. Locations featured are Rose Hall Great House in Jamaica, Poveglia Island in Italy, and Fort Erie in Canada. Plus four British locations, the Edinburgh Vaults in Scotland, the Hellfire Caves, Fort Horsted and the infamous Ancient Ram Inn.

In this episode some of the nightclubs, bars and restaurants the crew have investigated are highlighted, including Bobby Mackey's music world.

The GAC showcase the most disturbing prisons and detention centres in the country. With a history of hangings, murders, electrocutions and suicides, these facilities have turned into spiritual battlegrounds.

The creepy collection of haunted artefacts housed inside Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum are getting the spotlight in 'The Haunted Museum', a new horror film anthology series produced in collaboration with filmmaker Eli Roth. The series presents frightening and hellish tales inspired by the spooky relics on display in Zak Bagans' Las Vegas museum. Zak, a devoted collector of the macabre, is opening his museum vaults and sharing the secrets and stories behind a curated selection of his most prized haunted items through scripted shorts produced by Roth and his accredited team and with featured commentary from Zak.

From master of horror Eli Roth, 'A Ghost Ruined My Life' shares the shocking stories of hauntings that have left emotional (and sometimes physical) scars on those unlucky enough to have experienced them. Equal parts terrifying and evocative, every hour-long episode will expose viewers to the real-life stories of survivors who have been dragged through hell and back and now struggle to rebuild their shattered lives.

Jack Osbourne introduced his sister, Kelly, to the paranormal last year and turned her skepticism into a curiosity of the unknown. Now, he’s bringing her to the queen of all haunted locations – the RMS Queen Mary. For decades, people have ventured onto the ship, docked in Long Beach, California, for a glimpse at the other side. However, since it shut down to the public in early 2020 when the Coronavirus pandemic struck, the hallowed halls of this once-elegant ocean liner have grown silent – but hardly empty. The skeleton crew of security and maintenance workers have experienced unsettlingly aggressive paranormal activity including scratches, threatening footsteps thundering down the hall and vivid apparitions. Each instalment of 'Shock Docs' goes to the heart of a true horror story and offers a peek into history. So far the two-hour special have focussed on American hauntings, but this time the show will examine one of the UK's most famous paranormal stories.
