Rendlesham Forest UFO Trail
This week Barry Dodds, who believes in many crazy paranormal tales, delves into the world of UFOs. Before he got stuck in he warned, "I'm not a fan of UFOs, you've got to be careful talking about UFOs because people stop taking you seriously." Of course this admission had his co-host, Ray Peacock, laughing his head off.

Barry says that Rendlesham Forest Incident is "Britain's Roswell," and took place in December 1980, "down south somewhere, where was it?"

The event actually took place in Suffolk, just outside RAF Woodbridge, which was used at the time by the US Air Force. Barry says, "we were having some sort of scrap with Russia," which is why Americans were "knocking around these places" at the time.

According to Barry some American officers from the base went out in to the forest one night to investigate some strange lights. They described finding a pyramid of lights in a clearing, it was silent and had markings like hieroglyphics on the side.

Barry says that the next night the UFO was back, this time Lieutenant Colonel Charles Halt went to look, he took a dictaphone with him and recorded the incident.

While the audio from the night remains, Barry says that although the men did have cameras, not a single photo remains as they have all been covered up. In fact, as Ray points out, there is very little evidence besides anecdotal accounts.

Conclusion

Ray defeated Barry easily without using any of his notes. The final nail in the coffin was when Barry said he'd learnt all the facts from a documentary he watched. Ray asked "who made this documentary?" Barry said it was on the SyFy channel, Ray then closed the whole thing down by asking "what does SyFy stand for?"
