Robbie Williams Says UFO Came So Close, He Could Have Touched It

Robbie Williams has spoken about his encounters with UFOs, describing a time when an unidentified craft came so close to him that he felt he could have reached out and touched it. The singer, who has long been open about his fascination with the paranormal, recalled seeing two UFOs in the sky over Los Angeles nearly 20 years ago.

Speaking on the Weaponized podcast, Robbie was keen to clarify that he was not under the influence of any substances at the time. "No substance was involved. No, no substance was involved at all," he stated.

Despite his past experiences, the former Take That star says that since becoming a father, his encounters have stopped entirely. "Since the kids, zilch. Because my focus is with them and on them," he explained. Robbie and his wife, Ayda Field, have four children together, and he suggests that his shift in priorities may have affected his ability to experience such phenomena.

One of Robbie's most striking experiences happened while he was working on the song Arizona, which is about alien contact. He described witnessing a mysterious "gold ball of light" appear in the studio, seemingly in sync with the song he was writing. This moment left a lasting impression on him, reinforcing his belief that there is more to the universe than meets the eye.

He also wonders whether his celebrity status plays a role in these encounters. "I often wonder if I'm supposed to see it because of my public platform. Am I supposed to see this so I can talk about it?" he mused.

Robbie has noticed a difference in his experiences depending on where he is in the world. He feels that Los Angeles has a stronger connection to the paranormal than the UK, despite once living in Wiltshire, an area known for its mystical history and proximity to UFO hotspots like Warminster.

"For some reason, I feel closer to the woo-woo in Los Angeles than I do in England," he said. "I had a house in Wiltshire... you would think I'd be inundated with spectres or doors slamming. Other people experienced it, but I didn't. It's not until I go to Los Angeles... that it's like there are vortexes here."

UFO expert and filmmaker Mark Christopher Lee believes Robbie's experiences fit a pattern seen in the music industry. "People love Robbie, he speaks the truth. There is also a link between musicians and UFOs," he told the Daily Star.

He suggests that Robbie has been having these encounters for decades because of his openness to them. "It's like a nudge from whatever is out there... that you're on the right track. I think Robbie has got that and he's unlocked it," Lee added.

Whether these experiences are the result of an open mind, a heightened state of creativity, or something truly otherworldly, Robbie Williams remains one of the most high-profile celebrities to speak candidly about UFOs. His willingness to share his stories continues to fuel debate about what might be out there - and who is meant to see it.
