Watch The Festival Of The Unexplained - Day One

A 40-hour virtual Halloween events is taking place online this weekend and will feature the biggest names from the paranormal community including Ciarán O'Keeffe, Patti Negri, Barri Ghai, Jayne Harris, Richard Estep, Sara & Phil Whyman and Nick Groff.

'The Festival Of The Unexplained' was officially kicked off by paranormal historian, Richard Felix, who gave viewers a virtual tour of his base, the historic Derby Gaol on Saturday morning.

The free online event is hosted by Karen Fray and Jolene Jackson-Lockwood and each of the hour-long sessions are being streamed live on the event's Facebook and YouTube pages.

From 10am on Saturday October 24 and throughout the whole of Sunday, the event will see a wide range of guests and speakers take to the virtual podium to talk about everything from ghosts to UFOs.

The event is aimed at everyone from armchair enthusiasts through to those who have first-hand experiences of the paranormal, there’s genuinely something for everybody on the extensive schedule.

Steve Higgins from Higgypop also popped up during the event to announce the shortlist for three of the categories in this year's Paranormal Entertainment Awards.
