Danny Moss has teased fans with news on a 2021 Halloween special which sees the Haunted Hunts team embark on one of their darkest investigations yet at Tatton Old Hall in Cheshire.
The special will stream exclusively on the The Haunted Hunts XTRA, the team's official Patreon stream on Sunday, October 31 and will follow Danny along with his fellow investigators, Rebecca Salisbury-Moss, Emma Dawe, Charlie Rutter, and Roxanne Rutter as they tackle one of the most haunted houses in the UK.
The Old Hall, which serves as a base for the team, sits within the grounds of Tatton Hall, in Knutsford. The whole park is now open to the public, but it's in the 15th century Old Hall where visitors and staff have reported a strangling sensations, almost as if a rope was being gradually tightened around their neck.
Witnesses have also reported hearing guttural moans, loud knocking and footsteps throughout the house and poltergeist activity is said to be commonplace, especially in the old Victorian dining room.
Danny announced the special on Facebook, which will feature a haunted item from his collection at Tatton Old Hall - Grace the famous haunted doll.
Danny said that he'll be releasing the episode featuring Grace this Halloween. He explained, "I will be releasing this episode directed and produced by myself as it was important to tell this story correctly. A story of what I call 'a paranormal miracle'. This is the story of Tatton Old Hall and the Grace Doll."
He wrote, "in April 2018 I had my entire belief system changed when I witnessed a true attachment to an item. Over the last three years this item has become the most famously haunted object in the UK and my project with #TheHauntedHunts team at Tatton Old Hall has become huge news in the UK paranormal scene."
He continues, "three years on and this item remains my most disturbing case, a case that has affected many people deeply. I will make clear for the record that I, like so many others am not a believer in demonic manifestation and neither are any of The Haunted Hunts team. I, like so many others am not a fan of this 'demon' craze that's sweeping the paranormal world right now BUT, if you want to research this story, if you want to watch some of the most compelling evidence ever captured on camera then feel free to watch this episode. This is the closest thing to what can be described as 'demonic'."
Danny told fans, "this is a seriously dangerous object and whether you believe in attachments or not... I couldn't care less, this is as real as it gets. Witnessed by hundreds of people in person, documented on camera and very much a part of my life and my teams lives."
The Halloween special comes off the back of the team's recent fourth series, entitled 'Project Invocation', a ten-episode experiment that was designed to test if fear itself can invoke paranormal activity.
This involved sending the team to a series of unknown locations without being forearmed with the history of the locations in advance. The tactics and methods used during their investigation were explained to them upon arrival, which meant the team really were in the dark and were pushed outside of their comfort zone and to the limits of fear.
