Danny Moss and 'The Haunted Hunts' team are back on the road for 2022 in this, their fifth season entitled 'Cemeteries Of The Dead'. Over the next five episodes they're investigating locations that all have one thing in common, they all have mysterious connections to possible on-site burials.
At the start of the episode, Danny said, "these locations that we are about to take on over the next few weeks are full of mystery, they are full of secrets and if we can uncover something that is only possible by investigating, it would just be an incredible moment for us."
Many historic buildings in the UK hold secrets, many of which remain hidden. Will the team's first location of the season in Staffordshire be one such location?
Bishton Hall is a Grade II listed Georgian mansion and is really making a name for itself in the UK paranormal field. There have been reports of unexplained phantom footsteps, disembodied voices, and even sightings of full-bodied apparitions.
The thing that really interests the team about this location is that within the grounds there is a small pet cemetery hidden in a wooded area.
Danny's first impression of the building is that it's very creepy, perhaps due to its size. He describes its many corridors and rooms as "like a warren".
Before their investigation got underway, Danny spoke to a very rational sounding and intelligent guy, who had his own experience at the hall. While alone on the top floor he heard a growl coming from an empty room while walking along the corridor on the upper floor.
On day two, Danny was joined by the rest of the team, consisting of Rebecca Salisbury-Moss, Emma Dawe, Charlie Rutter, Roxanne Rutter, Alice Grindley and Nick Anderson. With everyone on site and the building rigged with audio and video recording devices, the team's investigation began.
They began with Alice and Nick monitoring cameras in the base room, while Charlie and Rox ventured up to the top floor and Danny headed down to the basement with Becki and Emma.
The first hour of the investigation initially seemed quiet, until they reviewed the static camera footage and realised they'd captured the strange sound of a glass moving in the basement, an area where glasses are stored that was completely empty at the time.
Later in the investigation, the team captured a very interesting event on camera. They'd placed a static camera in a room of the house and had a device called a GS2 Laser Grid set up in front of it. At one point, what looked like a strange mist or puff of smoke appeared in front of it. The GS2 Laser Grid picked up on the movement and registered it as being colder than its surroundings.
The team's mission to uncover the mysteries of haunted burial sites continues at five more terrifying locations. We'll be bringing you an episode guide for the second instalment of 'Cemeteries Of The Dead' at the weekend.
