A Haunted Former Jail Lures Back A Paranormal Team Six Years After They Made A Shocking Discovery There

In the heart of the city of Buena Vista in Virginia sits a public library which was once a jail and courthouse, which is said to be very haunted.

For years it held inmates who would do anything to escape. The courthouse, now converted into the Buena Vista Public Library, once had its own separate jail that was torn down in the 1940s to make room for the new jail, which was constructed in its place.

The Twisted Paranormal Society, a team consisting of investigators Lyle Lotts, Tonna Lotts, Brandon Johnson, Melissa Sykes, Jon Harris, and Lynn Harris, first ventured into the library six years ago to investigate its chilling past, but after making a shocking discovery, they left with unanswered questions.

The team now return to the haunted library in their series, 'The Twisted Realm', which finds its home exclusively on PARAFlixx Paranormal+, the streaming service devoted to all things paranormal. Upon their return to Buena Vista, the team's thorough investigation uncovers the presence of different spirits and the lingering haunting resulting from the jail's infamous murder.

'The Twisted Realm' is a paranormal documentary series that follows the team as they investigate some of America's most haunted locations as they search for answers to what possibly lies within the realm of the unknown.

In October 1933, the Chief of Police at the time, Matt Beard, was serving a prisoner a routine meal, when an inmate charged at him, stole the gun he was carrying, and shot and killed the chief. The prisoner escaped into the alleyway where he was met by police officers and a gun fight ensued. The escapee was shot, and shortly after, died in the nearby hospital from his injuries.

During their first investigation six years ago, The Twisted Paranormal Society, encountered unexplainable and shocking activity. Lyle and Tonna captured a series of loud unexplainable knocks on camera in one of the jail cells with an unusual pattern. At the time, there was nobody in the confined jail area with the crew. The loud knocks occurred in the same sequence a second time after the team attempted to establish further communication and asked for these loud knocks to occur again ...and they did.

Lyle, the team's lead investigator, said, "it's been a little over six years since the Twisted Paranormal Society has made their way to Buena Vista to investigate the public library. We had so much activity that took place during that investigation, and there's been so much that has taken place since then, that they asked us to come back."

As the crew is led through the library and the new jail, they discover shocking new information of recent activity from a local librarian. The team captures clear spirit voices in audio recordings, experience frightening physical attacks including a burning sensation which occurs more than once, and hear startling voices throughout the investigation which are seemingly eager to tell their story.
