Oklahoma Jelly Bean UFO Footage
A man in Oklahoma City has captured a puzzling video of an unidentified flying object (UFO). The footage, taken by Chris Frederick on the night of January 25th, shows a glowing, jellybean-shaped object in the sky with what he describes as a plasma-like interior.

Chris, a long-time teacher and experienced drone pilot, was heading out with his wife when he first noticed the object in the sky above his neighbourhood in the Gatewood district. Soon, other neighbours gathered to observe the strange sight, many pulling out their phones to document the event.

Intrigued, Chris decided to launch his drone to get a closer look. However, things quickly became even stranger. His drone controller initially refused to function, displaying a warning about electromagnetic interference. After several recalibration attempts, he managed to get the drone in the air and capture a few photographs of the object, estimating it was around 450 metres high.

Then, another anomaly occurred. Despite using a freshly charged battery - one that typically allows for around 35 minutes of flight time - his drone unexpectedly drained within just four minutes, forcing an automatic return to home. Chris and his wife continued observing the object for nearly four hours that night.

The video taken by Chris later appeared on KOCO 5 News and is available to watch below...
Seeking answers, KOCO 5 News consulted astrophysics professor Xinyu Kilic from the University of Oklahoma. While he admitted that the object appeared unusual, he leaned toward a more conventional explanation, suggesting it was likely another drone with navigation lights.

By examining the metadata of the images, Professor Kilic noted the presence of a red streak in one of the photos, speculating that it could be a long-exposure image capturing a drone's navigation lights in motion.

However, Chris remains unconvinced. Given his experience as a drone pilot, he finds it unlikely that a standard drone would cause electromagnetic interference or drain his battery so rapidly.

Was this simply a drone, or did Chris and his neighbours witness something more unusual that night? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
