Singleway Mine

Singleway Mine

A small quarry spread through out a hill top near Bath University, a great example of a stone quarry from this era.

Bath, Somerset

Grid Reference: ST773651

No Access

The last update I received was that the quarry has been filled in by the golf course in which it is located.

Singleway Mine History

Singleway Quarry, is fairly small mine probably due to poor quality stone, it's only about 300 metres long running under the golf course. The main entrance to the mine has been collapsed and most of the other entrances have been gated. There is however one remaining entrance which has a short vertical drop.
