About This Video
This video was uploaded to the YouTube channel Top 5 Darkest in December 2016.
Time got the better of us and we, unfortunately, couldn't do a Christmas theme this year, but We have been working on future projects for next year. We hope you enjoy the episode.
From 15th to 17th century, Europe was beneath the shadow of ignorance and superstition. Towns were underdeveloped and people often lived near woodland, The fear of wolves was an ever-present nightmare.
Misunderstood mental illness and physical afflictions, coupled with proximity to wolf packs and their semi-regular attacks on human settlements, eventually gave way to the first suggested instances of human/wolf monsters and the legends which would instil themselves in the collective conscious for centuries to come.
In this video we take a look at the first recorded werewolf reports and stories, let's begin.
