It is believed that this ruined church had replaced a previous Norman building that sat on this very same land during the 11th century.
The small graveyard that surrounds the church of all saints is claimed to be the burial ground for many plague victims.
The ghostly figure of a monk has been reported wondering within the graveyard however, there was never a monastery at Annesley.
