Monks Park is an underground military mine which used to house bombs and ammunition and other military stuff and is rumoured to have been a secret testing centre for submarine electronics. It has a lift shaft and slope shafts and breathers off site. It is privately owned by a company called Leafield engineering who provide storage for the MOD and other companies. Most of the stuff down there is old Army surplus style bits for Army RAF and Navy. There are roads underground you can drive on.
