Day one of a road trip with Exploring with Fighters I thought I would introduce them to the quarry style holes in the ground that all the other military mines in the area came from. These were originally all bath stone mines and make up 25 miles of underground tunnels which were requisitioned by the military for wartime bomb storage and other uses included aircraft factories and command centres.
